All cheques have been mailed.
If you have not received your cheque, or if you have further questions, please call us at 403-476-4100 or email elections@calgary.ca.
Why did it take so long to get my cheque?
Normally, election worker pay processing begins immediately after Election Day. This work did not commence until after two recounts were concluded. Additional time was required to calculate final pay for some workers to ensure all pay was included (training, hours worked, mileage, receipts, recounts, feedback sessions – as applicable).
Elections Calgary does not have a permanent staffing structure and systems dedicated to managing the recruitment, hiring and payment of election workers. As a result, current pay processes are manual and time intensive.
What if my cheque amount is incorrect?
If your cheque appears to be incorrect, please call 403-476-4100 or email elections@calgary.ca.
